Agarose Gel
Biomoles's Precast Agarose Gels are cast in different concentrations
and well formats which offer the best separation and resolution access
to nucleic acid analysis. The specially designed UV transmitting trays
fit into standard electrophoresis chambers of different sizes and provide
easy, convenient access for observing nucleic acid mobility directly
in the electrophoresis process. Under 120mv, the DNA or RNA bands can
be observed in 15 minutes through the tray repetitively thus greatly
reduces your testing time. These easy-to-use precast gels can preserve up to 8 months at room temperature.
Specifications:
- User friendly tray design: simply break down the two banks of the
tray by fingers and start to use. No scissors necessary. No gels pulled
out needed.
- Fast: electrophoresis results can be obtained as short as 15 minutes.
- UV transmitting tray: can observe DNA/RNA mobility directly and
repetitively.
- High resolution: sharp bands and low background.
- Universal applications: two sizes of trays can accommodate different
brands of small to large chambers without extra requirement.
- High quality of agarose: molecular biology grade of agarose with
undetectable DNase and RNase.
- DNA range from 10bp to 15kb.
Dimensions and Concentrations
Precast Agarose Gel is designed for nucleic
acid electrophoresis. It contains six different concentrations and
two sizes. The six concentrations are: 0.8%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%, 3.0%,
and 4.0%. Special concentrations and requirements can be made by customize.
The two sizes of gel trays are: 10.0x7cm (l x w) and 6x10 cm (l x
w); the actual gel sizes are 10.0x6.4cm (l x w) and 6.0x9.5cm (l x
w) separately. These ready gels are prepared in TAE or TBE buffer
with or without EtBr.

How to Use
- Open the golden gel bags using scissors.
- Carefully break the two tray banks face and on the opposite side
of the gel well line.
- Load TAE or TBE buffer into your electrophoresis chamber.
- Put the gel with gel tray into the chamber.
- Add your DNA/RNA samples with proper loading dye into each well.
- Switch on electrophoresis.
Storage
4-25°C for 6~8 months.
